Questions about Shopify stores
Most stores take 4–8 weeks, depending on how many products you have and how quickly product photos, descriptions and feedback come in. A large catalog or a move from another platform can take longer. You’ll get a timeline in your proposal before work begins.
Yes. Products, images, collections and customer details can usually be moved into Shopify. How much order history comes across depends on the platform you’re leaving, so I’ll confirm what can move before we start.
I also set up redirects, so anyone following a link to one of your old product pages lands on the right page in the new store.
Yes. Shopify bills you directly for your monthly plan and payment processing, and some apps have their own subscriptions. Those costs are separate from the price of building the store.
I’ll help you choose the plan and apps that fit what you sell, so you’re not paying for features you won’t use.
Yes. You’ll add products, change prices, update stock and run sales from your Shopify admin, and the written handover shows you how using your own store.
